Here is an initial shout-out to the 25,000+ refugees currently residing within Salt Lake City and all those dedicated to the support of their cause. This site will offer regular updates on the efforts of the Utah Refugee Coalition, a non-profit just recently recognized by the IRS as having tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Code. What does this mean for the refugees of Salt Lake? More details to follow...

It doesn't look like this blog is very active, but I recall a refugee group needing doanted sewing machines, and I have one to give away.
